Today the weather is so cold and the clock is striking thirteen." it is past a hour of midnight

i was so engrossed in my work and i was busy studying an unsolved case details...

suddenly my phone rang breaking the mysterious silence of my cabin..

I was worried to see my mom calling and with no choice I had to answer..

She started speaking before I say a hello

"RUDRA INKA STATION LONE VUNNAVA

THINNAVA LEDHA

EPPUDU VASTHUNNAV INTIKI

ILLU ANEDHI OKATI UNDANI GURTHUNDHA ASALU NIKU

EE ROJU SATURDAY.. KANISAM WEEKENDS LO AINA INTIKI RAVA!??

ANSWER MY QUESTIONS RUDRA... Y DON'T U SPEAK!?"She went short of breath after all these thunderous words and had to pause for a second to inspire some air

(T/N: Rudra, where are you my child? Still at the station?

Have eaten anything or starving!??Wn r u coming home beta!??Do u atleast remember that u hv a family waiting to see you on earth!?Would you spare some of ur time to visit us atleast on the weekends??)

Her brief pause for a second was my oppurtunity to speak only to stop her from bombarding more words on me

"HA MAA , I'M IN STATION.

I HAD MY DINNER, DON'T U WORRY.

HOW DO I TELL U THAT I DO REMEMBER BELONGING TO A FAMILY N HAVE A MOTHER WHO NEVER GIVES A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN FOR THE OTHER PERSON WHEN SHE STARTS HER TYPICAL MOMMY'S LECTURE!??"

" BY THE WAY WHAT KEPT YOU UP AT THIS TIME IN THE NIGHT.!? i asked her softly

" I WAS WAITING FOR YOU KANNA.

I DOZED OFF IN THE PROCESS AND SUDDENLY WOKE UP TO UR THOUGHTS.

I CHECKED FOR YOU IN THE HOUSE N U WERE NOT FOUND... ENDED UP CALLING YOU ONLY TO FIND OUT U FORGOT TO COME HOME.." she replied

Now , I was held guilty for not letting her know tht I would b late tonight and had to apologise."SORRY MAA I FORGOT TO INFORM YOU"

Have you ever seen Indian Moms furious out of consern accepting any kind of apology.!?

No , never she would accept my apology.

"IT'S OKAY NANNA BUT COME HOME SAFELY "

"OKAY MAA GOOD NIGHT ILL BE HOME SAFELY " saying this i disconnected call

In sometime I was done with my work . I wrapped up things n drove home.

Thanks to the set of spare keys I had, I could get in without disturbing anyone.

I locked the door from inside and head straight towards my room.

The hot shower made me feel so much fresh that my pillow could readily seduce me to sleep.

I asleep in no half naked with my track pants on.

AUTHOR POV

It was time for vasumathi to brighten up everyone's day with her enchanting coffee.

She walked into the living room with a tray filled with coffee mugs.

In the living room, Raghav Raj and Avyansh happened to be sitting at two ends of a perpendicular sofa, the former reading a newspaper nd the latter scrolling Instagram with puffy eyes .

Vasumathi handed them their mugs n started gulping her coffee as she sat beside her son.

very soon anshitha princess of the rathod's joined the trio wishing good morning to them with her drowsy eyes which made everone giggle at her cuteness

Glimpsing at her children vasumathi declared "GO SLEEP FOR SOME MORE TIME AMMU, UR EYES ARE STILL SO PUFFY ND U SEEM TO B VERY DROWSY ,HOWEVER HIS HIGHNESS IS STILL ON BED "

upon hearing to the new found info of their brother both avy and anshi shared siblings code with mischevious look through their eyes and raced towards his room

both stormed near the door and tiptoed inside the room.., finding his brother still slumbering both avy,anshi joined either side of him placing their heads on his broad wide chiseled chest and dozed of

rudransh smiled knowing whom the heads belongs to nd started patting their heads

why not because he was the one who raised them, he always treat them as his kids beacuse their parents didnt have enough time to spend with them when they were born(AVY AND ANSHI ARE TWINS)

as they were facing a issue in their developing company which was due to a traitor both mr and mrs.rathod were busy solving it (vasumathi use to help raghav raj at the early days of their business establishment)

both avy and anshi call him nanna as he was their father figure more than a brother for them they only call annayya only when they are angry or irritated

as it was breakfast time vasumathi went to wake up her three lazy bugs but found heartwarming scene in the room ,to make it memorable she clicked a picture of serene scene and awaken the three lazy asses to get ready and join the dining table

soon everyone joined dining table where easily 20-25 members can sit and eat

everyone except rudransh shared a mischevious look which didnt go unnoticed by rudransh and started their act

RUDRANSH POV

i joined dining table with my family everyone were sharing a look and i understood that something was cooking in their head and i mentally

warned myself not to fall in their trap

mom cleared her thought to gain everyone' s attention

i saw her she was having a sad expression on her face i was wondering what happened so i asked

"MAA WHAT HAPPENED"

"I MET KARTHIK'S MOM DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY" mom said(karthik is my bestfriend )

"SO" i asked

"SHE WAS SAYING ABOUT KARTHIK'S MAARIED LIFE BOASTED HOW HAPPY HE IS AFTER MARRYING RITU" with a sad pout on her face

"THEN ITS A GOOD NEWS ONLY NA THAT HE IS HAPPY FROM HIS MARRIED LIFE WHY ARE YOU SAD" i asked her confused

"I WANT YOU ALSO TO MARRY " she said

"MAA YOU KNOW NA IM NOT INTRESTED IN MARRIAGE ,DONT THINK ABOUT MY MARRIAGE " i said with 'im done look'

"SO ONLY I DECIDED TO GO TO KEDARNATH" she said which made me confused,but keeping my confusion aside i asked her

"SHOULD I BOOK YOU TICKETS ", her next statement made me shocked

"NO NEED TO BOOK TICKETS IM GOING TO DO PADAYATRA TO KEDARNATH TO FULLFILL MY WISH I ALREADY ASKED YOUR FATHER TO WHICH HE ALREADY GAVE ME GREEN SIGNAL

AND YOUR SIBLINGS ALSO ACCEPTED IT" she said in one go and drank water

i glared at the three people who gave green signal to her trip

she stated "DONT GLARE AT THEM THEY ALSO ACCEPTED ONLY WHEN I SAID MY REASON"

"AND MAY I KNOW THAT SPECIAL REASON WHICH MADE THEM TO GIVE THEIR CONSENT"

"TO FULLFILL MY WISH " mom said

"SAY ME WHAT THAT WISH IS I'LL FULFILL , NO NEED TO WALK TO KEDARNATH" i declared

[ALAS..! LITTLE DID HE KNOW THAT HE WAS FINALLY IN HIS MOM'S TRAP----AUTHOR🤪]

listening to my statement moms eyes twinkled she asked "PROMISE"

"PROMISE AMMA I'LL DEFINATELY FULFILL UR WISH JUST ORDER ME WHAT YOU WANT I'LL DO " i said, her next statement made me flabberghosted

"MARRY RUHANIKA SHETTY D/O: VASU ANNAYYA,YOUR FIANCE FROM 20 YEARS......."
